    Getting There

    Bus

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Asuka Station. The journey takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Asuka Station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop located just outside the station. Take the Asuka Town bus (Asuka Shuttle) towards Ishibutai Tumulus. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the Ishibutai Tumulus bus stop. The site will be a short walk from the bus stop.

    Walking

    If you prefer to walk from Asuka Station to Ishibutai Tumulus, exit the station and head south towards Route 165. Turn left onto Route 165 and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. After approximately 20 minutes of walking, you will see signs directing you to Ishibutai Tumulus on your right. Follow the pathway leading to the entrance of the site.
