Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Oki. Take Route 9 heading north towards Nishinoshima. After approximately 30 minutes, follow the signs for the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Hokkaido (note that ferry tickets may cost around 3,000 JPY per person). Upon arrival at Hokkaido, drive towards Niseko, which is approximately a 1.5-hour drive. Follow Route 5 to reach Arishima, and once in Arishima, look for signs directing you to the Arishima Takeo Memorial Museum located at 57 Arishima, Niseko, Hokkaido 048-1531.
Public Transportation
To reach the Arishima Takeo Memorial Museum via public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Oki to the ferry terminal. The bus fare is approximately 500 JPY. After arriving at the ferry terminal, board the ferry to Hokkaido. Once you arrive in Hokkaido, take a local bus to Niseko Station (approximately 1,000 JPY). From Niseko Station, you can take another bus to Arishima (about 400 JPY). The museum is a short walk from the bus stop in Arishima.
