Ferry
If you are in Okinawa, begin your journey by taking a ferry from Naha to Kitadaito Island, where the Okinawa Sea is located. Head to the Tomari Port in Naha, which is accessible by public bus or taxi from most locations in the city. Check the ferry schedule in advance as departures may vary. The ferry ride takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at Kitadaito Island, you will be near Nakano, where the Okinawa Sea is situated.
Public Transport
Once you arrive on Kitadaito Island, take a local bus or taxi to Nakano. The distance from the ferry terminal to Nakano is about 15 kilometers. Local buses run regularly, and you can ask the driver to drop you off at Nakano. The scenic spots along the way will give you a taste of the island's beauty.
Walking
After arriving in Nakano, you can walk to the Okinawa Sea. The sea is easily accessible from the main bus stop in Nakano. Follow the signs towards the waterfront and enjoy the beautiful views along the way. It should take you about 10-15 minutes to reach the shore.
