Car
If you're driving, start on Route 19 and head east towards Matsumoto. Once you reach Matsumoto, look for signs directing you to the city center. Enter Fukashi Street (Fukashimachi) and continue straight. After about 1 kilometer, you will see Fukashi-jinja Shrine on your left at 3 Chome-7-43 Fukashi. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to find a spot on the street.

Take a train to Matsumoto Station. Once you arrive at Matsumoto Station, exit the station and find the bus terminal located just outside. Board a local bus heading towards Fukashi or the city center. The bus ride should take about 10 minutes. Get off at the Fukashi-jinja Shrine stop, which is directly in front of the shrine. From there, you can easily access the shrine grounds.

If you're already in the vicinity of Matsumoto's city center, you can walk to Fukashi-jinja Shrine. From the Matsumoto Castle, head south on Nakamachi Street towards the Fukashi area. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers, and you will reach the shrine at 3 Chome-7-43 Fukashi. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the local scenery along the way.
