Train
From Osaka, take the JR Kyoto Line from Osaka Station to Kyoto Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Kyoto Line (also known as the Karasuma Line) and head towards Kokusai Kaikan Station. Get off at Shijo Station. From Shijo Station, take Exit 1 and walk straight until you reach the intersection with the main road. Turn left onto Shijo-dori and continue walking for about 15 minutes. You will cross the Kamo River, and Tatsumi Bridge will be on your right.

From Osaka, board the Kyoto City Bus 101, 102, or 205 at Osaka Station. This will take you directly to Gion, a popular area near Tatsumi Bridge. After about 50 minutes, get off at the Gion bus stop. From there, walk towards the Yasaka Shrine. Once you reach the shrine, head east towards the Kamo River. Tatsumi Bridge will be located just a short walk from the shrine.
