From Kyoto Station, take bus number 100 or 206 heading towards Gion. The journey will take about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the Gion bus stop. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the Gion district. Kahitsukan, Kyoto Modern Art Museum is located at 271 Gionmachi Kitagawa, which is approximately a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head down Shijo Avenue towards the east, then turn right onto Hanamikoji Street, and continue straight until you reach the museum.

Public Transport (Subway)
From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway towards Kokusaikaikan and get off at Shijo Station. Transfer to the Hankyu Line and take the train to Kawaramachi Station. From Kawaramachi Station, exit and head east towards Gion. Walk straight along Shijo Avenue and turn right onto Hanamikoji Street. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Kahitsukan, Kyoto Modern Art Museum at 271 Gionmachi Kitagawa.
