Car
If you are traveling by car, head southeast on Route 1 from Owari towards Kyoto. Continue on Route 1 until you reach the junction with Route 24, then merge onto Route 24 towards Kyoto. Follow Route 24 until you see signs for Fushimi Inari Taisha. The shrine is located at 68 Fukakusa Yabunouchicho, Fushimi Ward, Kyoto, 612-0882. Parking is available near the shrine, but be aware that it can fill up quickly, especially during peak tourist seasons. Expect to pay around ¥500-¥1,000 for parking depending on the duration of your stay.
Train
For those using public transportation, take the JR Tokaido Line from Owari Station to Kyoto Station. This journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at Kyoto Station, transfer to the JR Nara Line and take the train towards Inari Station. The ride is about 5 minutes, and Inari Station is the closest station to Fushimi Inari Taisha. After exiting the station, follow the signs that lead you to the shrine, which is just a short walk away (about 5 minutes). The total cost for this journey should be around ¥600-¥1,000.
Bus
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Owari to Kyoto. Check local bus schedules for routes that head towards Kyoto Station. Once at Kyoto Station, follow the same instructions as above to transfer to the JR Nara Line and get off at Inari Station. The bus fare will vary but expect to pay around ¥800-¥1,200 depending on the route and distance.
