Getting There

Car
From Sagami, head east on Route 246 towards Atsugi. Merge onto the Chuo Expressway (E20) and continue for about 30 km. Take the Yamanakako exit and follow the signs to Lake Yamanaka. Once you reach the lake, turn onto Prefectural Road 707 towards Hirano. Continue for about 15 minutes until you reach 1450 Hirano, Yamanakako, Yamanashi 401-0502. There is free parking available at the onsen.

Public Transportation
Start at Sagami Station and take the JR Chuo Line to Otsuki Station (approximately 40 minutes). Transfer to the Fujikyu Railway and take the Fujisan Limited Express to the Yamanakako Hirano Station (about 30 minutes). From the station, you can take a local taxi to ISHIWARI-NO-YU, which is around 10 minutes away. The total fare for the train journey will be approximately ¥1,500, and the taxi fare should be around ¥1,500.
