If you are traveling by car, set your GPS to 2255 Kawaguchi, Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0304. From central Yamanashi, take the Chuo Expressway (E20) towards Kawaguchiko. Exit at the Kawaguchiko Interchange and follow Route 139 towards Lake Kawaguchi. The museum is located approximately 10 minutes from the interchange, just along the lakeside road. There is a parking lot available at the museum, which is free of charge.

For those using public transportation, take the JR Chuo Line from any station in Yamanashi, and get off at Otsuki Station. Transfer to the Fujikyu Railway and take the Fujisan Limited Express train to Kawaguchiko Station. From Kawaguchiko Station, you can take the 'Kawaguchiko Onsen' bus (which runs every 30 minutes) towards the Itchiku Art Museum. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes, and the fare is around 500 yen. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop.
