Getting There

    From Sapporo Station, take the Namboku Line (Green Line) towards Makomanai. Ride for 5 stops and get off at Sapporo Station. After you exit the train, follow the signs to the exit of the station. Once outside, head towards Kita 24 Jo Street.

  • Walking

    After exiting Sapporo Station, turn left and walk along Kita 24 Jo Street. Continue walking straight for about 10-15 minutes until you reach a large intersection with a traffic light. You will see a sign for Kita 23 Jonishi on your left.

  • Walking

    Turn left onto Kita 23 Jonishi. Tendoji is located at 9 Chome-2-13 Kita 23 Jonishi, Kita Ward. It should be just a short walk down this street on your right. Look for the main entrance of the temple.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, from Sapporo Station, exit the station and find the bus stop for the Chuo Bus. Take Bus Number 101 or 102 towards the Kita 24 Jo area. Get off at the 'Kita 23 Jonishi' bus stop. From there, Tendoji is just a 5-minute walk straight down Kita 23 Jonishi.
