Xavier Park is located near the Tenmonkan shopping district, making it easily accessible on foot. From the center of Tenmonkan, walk east along Nikanbashi Dori, then turn right onto Sengokubaba Dori. The park will be on your left, across from Xavier Church. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes.
Public Transport
The closest tram stop to Xavier Park is Takamibaba. From Kagoshima Chuo Station, take any tram heading towards Kagoshima Station and disembark at Takamibaba. Walk approximately 5 minutes east to reach the park. The tram fare is ¥170 for adults. Alternatively, take the Kagoshima City View bus and get off at the St Xavier Park stop. A single ride on the City View bus is ¥230, or a one-day pass is available for ¥600.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Kagoshima. From Kagoshima Chuo Station, a taxi ride to Xavier Park will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay between ¥800 and ¥1200.
