Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line one stop south to Kujo Station. From there, it's approximately a 5-minute walk east to Cycle Kyoto. Subway fare is around ¥220-350 for adults, depending on the distance. Alternatively, multiple city buses stop near Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit. Take bus number 16 and get off at the Higashikujo Nishisannocho bus stop. Bus fare is a flat rate of ¥230 for adults within the central area.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available throughout Kyoto, including at Kyoto Station. A taxi ride from Kyoto Station to Cycle Kyoto takes approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The taxi fare will likely be around ¥620 for the first 1.5km, with additional charges of ¥320 per kilometer thereafter. Note that a 20% surcharge applies between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM.

  • Walking

    From Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit, Cycle Kyoto is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Head east on Hachijo-dori Street, then turn left onto Karasuma-dori Street. Turn right onto Kujo-dori Street, and then turn right again onto Route 1. Cycle Kyoto will be on your right. No costs involved.
