Car
If you are traveling by car, begin your journey by navigating to Mitoyo City in Kagawa Prefecture. From Takamatsu, take the Takamatsu Expressway and exit at the Mitoyo Interchange (約40 minutes drive). Follow Route 319 towards Takumacho Ohama. After about 20 minutes, look for signs directing you to the Mt. Shiude Observation Deck (紫雲出山山頂展望台). The last part of the drive will involve a steep ascent, so drive carefully. There is parking available at the observation deck.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train from Takamatsu to the nearest station, which is Takuma Station (約1 hour by train). From Takuma Station, you can use a local bus service (check the schedule, as buses may not run frequently) or arrange for a taxi to take you to the Mt. Shiude Observation Deck. The taxi ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Please ensure to check the bus timings in advance to avoid long wait times.

If you are in Mitoyo City and prefer a direct route to the observation deck, taking a taxi can be a convenient option. Simply call a local taxi service or use a ride-hailing app. The taxi ride from Mitoyo City to Mt. Shiude Observation Deck will take about 30 minutes, and the fare should be around 3,000 to 4,000 yen, depending on traffic conditions.
