If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to Kochi City in Kochi Prefecture. From Kochi City, take Route 56 heading towards Tosa City. After approximately 20 km, turn onto Route 33 towards Usachoryu. Continue for about 5 km and you will see signs for Shōryūji Temple. There is parking available near the temple, but keep in mind that it may have a small fee, around 500 yen.

From Tosa-Yamada Station, you can take a local bus (Tosa Bus) towards Usachoryu. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as they may not run frequently. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the Usachoryu stop, which is a short walk from the temple.
