    From the Kenrokuen Garden, exit the garden near the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art. Walk straight along the main road (Hirosaka Street) for about 2-3 minutes. Ishiura Shrine will be on your left, across the street from the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art. No cost for walking.

    From Kanazawa Station, take the Kanazawa Loop Bus (Right Loop) from bus terminal 7. Get off at the Hirosaka/21st Century Museum stop. The shrine is located across the street from the museum. The bus ride takes approximately 18 minutes. A single ride on the Kanazawa Loop Bus costs 210 yen for adults. A one-day pass is available for 800 yen, allowing unlimited rides on the Loop Bus and other local buses.

Ishiura Shrine, quietly nestled in Kanazawa, is a historical treasure dating back to the Tensho Era. Said to be the oldest shrine in Kanazawa, with origins stretching back over 1500 years, it provides a serene escape from the surrounding urban environment. The shrine was moved to its current location in 1880 and is surrounded by over 255 trees, creating a green oasis in the city center. Originally a local shrine for seven villages, Ishiura Shrine is now known as a place to find your soulmate, drawing many female visitors.
