Car
If you're driving from Tajima, take Route 134 heading northeast. Follow the signs for Yokohama and continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers. You will enter Naka Ward in Yokohama. Once you reach Minaminakadori, look for the Kanagawa Prefectural Museum of Cultural History at 5 Chome-60. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

Train
To reach the Kanagawa Prefectural Museum of Cultural History via public transportation, start at Tajima Station. Take the JR Tokaido Line toward Tokyo. Change trains at Yokohama Station to the JR Negishi Line and get off at Sakuragicho Station. From there, it’s a 15-minute walk to the museum. Follow the signs to the Minaminakadori exit, and once outside, head east on Minaminakadori for about 1 kilometer until you reach the museum at 5 Chome-60. The total train fare will be approximately 500 yen.

If you prefer to take the bus, from Tajima, head to the nearest bus stop and take a local bus towards Yokohama. Once in Yokohama, transfer to the city bus line that goes to the Naka Ward area. Disembark at the stop closest to 5 Chome-60 Minaminakadori. The bus fare will vary based on your starting point, but expect around 300-400 yen. After getting off the bus, follow the signs to the museum, which is just a short walk away.
