If you are driving, start from the center of Tajima and head east on Route 9. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Tokyo Expressway. Merge onto the Tokyo Expressway and head towards Setagaya City. Take the Setagaya exit and follow the signs for Kitakarasuyama. Once you arrive in Kitakarasuyama, look for 4 Chome-30-1, which is Kōgen-in. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, start by taking the train from Tajima Station to Shinjuku Station (approximately 2 hours). From Shinjuku, transfer to the Odakyu Line and take a train towards Sangubashi Station. Get off at Sangubashi Station and exit towards the north. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Kōgen-in. Head south on Kamiyama-cho Street, then turn left onto Kitakarasuyama Street. Continue straight until you reach 4 Chome-30-1, where Kōgen-in is located.
