The screen measures 8.16 meters high by 18.96 meters wide, ensuring the feline antics are visible from a distance. The cat's display runs from 7:00 AM to 1:00 AM, with different animations playing throughout the day. Viewers can witness the cat waking up and stretching in the morning, playing and interacting with the surroundings during the day, and eventually falling asleep at night. The lifelike movements, carefully based on feline behavior, include everything from the twitch of its tail to the dilation of its pupils. Created by MicroAd Digital Signage and Yunika Vision, the display aims to transform digital signage into a destination. The 3D effect is achieved through meticulous calculations and designs, making the cat appear to pop out of the screen when viewed from the square in front of Shinjuku Station's east exit. The cat even has a collar made of traditional braided cords with a crepe bell, adding a touch of Japanese culture.
