    If you're driving from central Tango, head south on Route 178. Follow the signs to Maizuru which is approximately a 30-minute drive. Once you enter Maizuru, continue on Route 27. After about 10 minutes, turn left onto Kawara Street. Kongo-in is located at 595 Kawara, which will be on your left. Look for the temple's distinctive architecture as a visual cue.     From the Tango area, take a train from the nearest station to Maizuru, which is the Maizuru Station on the JR Line. The train ride should take about 20-30 minutes.
