From the Matsuo-Hachimantai Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway, Matsukawa Gorge is approximately a 20-minute drive. Follow the signs towards Matsukawa Onsen. Parking is available near Mori-no-Ohashi Bridge, providing convenient access to the gorge.

Public Transport

From JR Obuke Station, take an Iwate Kenhoku Bus bound for Matsukawa Onsen. Get off at the Kenmin-no-mori bus stop, which is a short 1-minute walk to the gorge. Bus fares are typically around ¥500-¥800.
