From Shinjuku Station, take the JR Yamanote Line (green line) towards Shinagawa. Ride for about 15 minutes until you reach Shinagawa Station. Once at Shinagawa Station, exit the station and head towards the East Exit. From the East Exit, look for the signs directing you to the bus stops.

At the bus stop outside Shinagawa Station, board the Toei Bus (buses that have signs in English) heading towards Kamiosaki. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the Kamiosaki bus stop, which is the closest stop to Honganji Temple.
