Train
If you're starting from Tokyo Station, take the JR Yamanote Line (green line) towards Ikebukuro. This is a circular line, so you can remain on the train without needing to transfer. After about 30 minutes, get off at Ikebukuro Station. From Ikebukuro Station, follow the signs for the East Exit.

After exiting Ikebukuro Station's East Exit, turn right and walk down the main street (Sunshine Street). Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach a large intersection. You will see the Ikebukuro Sunshine City complex on your left. Cross the intersection and continue walking straight. Minami-Ikebukuro Park will be on your left, just a short walk further down the road.
