Getting There

  • Train

    If you are starting from Shinjuku Station, take the JR Yamanote Line towards Ikebukuro. It is a direct train and will take about 20 minutes. Get off at Ikebukuro Station. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the East Exit.

  • Walking

    From Ikebukuro Station East Exit, head towards the Sunshine City complex. It is about a 10-minute walk. Exit the station and walk straight, then turn left at the first intersection. Continue walking straight until you reach Sunshine City. The entrance is located at 3 Chome−1, Higashiikebukuro.

  • Elevator

    Once inside Sunshine City, locate the elevators that go up to the Sunshine 60 Observatory. You will need to go to the 60th floor. Follow the signs for the observatory, and you will find the elevators near the main atrium.
