Train
From Shinjuku Station, take the JR Chuo Line (Rapid Service) towards Takao Station. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once at Takao Station, follow the signs to the North Exit.

Upon exiting Takao Station North Exit, you will find the bus terminal. Look for the Keio Bus service that goes to the Mt. Takao Echo Lift. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Takaosan Eko Lift' bus stop, which is the closest stop to the Echo Lift.

After getting off the bus at 'Takaosan Eko Lift', you will see the entrance to the Mt. Takao Echo Lift. Follow the signs leading to the lift. The lift will take you up the mountain, offering beautiful views along the way.
