Car
If you're driving from Hakone, head east on Route 1 (Tōmei Expressway) towards Tokyo. Exit at Hachioji Interchange and follow signs for Route 16. After about 15 minutes, turn right onto Route 72. Continue for about 10 minutes and follow the signs to Takaosan Yakuōin Yukiji Temple. Parking is available at the temple, but a fee of around ¥500 will apply.

Start at Hakone-Yumoto Station and take the Odakyu Line towards Shinjuku. Transfer at Shinjuku Station to the Chuo Line and take a train towards Takao Station (approximately 1 hour). From Takao Station, take the Keio Takao Line to Takaosanguchi Station (about 5 minutes). From Takaosanguchi Station, it's a 30-minute hike up to Takaosan Yakuōin Yukiji Temple.
