Car
If you're driving from central Hakone, head towards Route 1 and follow the signs for Gora. After about 15 minutes, take the exit for Hakone Turnpike. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you see signs for Echo Lift. There is parking available near the lift, but note that it may incur a parking fee.

Public Transportation
Begin your journey at Hakone-Yumoto Station. Take the Hakone Tozan Railway towards Gora Station. This scenic train ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Gora Station, transfer to the Hakone Tozan Cable Car and ride it to Sounzan Station. From Sounzan Station, board the Echo Lift which will take you to the mountain top. Be sure to check the operating hours of the Echo Lift as they are open from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM daily, and you may need to purchase a ticket for the lift.
