Getting There

  • Train

    If you're starting from Tokyo Station, take the JR Yamanote Line (the green line) towards Shinagawa Station. This ride will take about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Shinagawa Station, exit the station and head to the East Exit. From there, you can walk to Shotokuji in approximately 15 minutes.

  • Subway

    From Shibuya Station, take the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line towards Oshiage. Change at Oshiage Station to the Toei Asakusa Line and take a train towards Nishi-Magome. Get off at the next stop, Shinagawa Station. Exit the station via the East Exit and walk about 15 minutes to reach Shotokuji.

  • Bus

    From Shinjuku Station, you can take the Toei Bus (route 01) from the Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal. Get off at the 'Kitashinagawa' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Shotokuji. Just head south along the main road, and you will find it on your left.
