Getting There

Walking
From Shibuya Station, take the Hachiko Exit. Once you exit, you will see the famous Hachiko statue. From there, head straight towards the Shibuya Scramble Crossing. Cross the street towards the Starbucks and continue straight until you reach a large intersection. Turn right at the intersection onto Omotesando Street. Walk along Omotesando for about 10 minutes; you will pass several shops and cafes. Look for a sign directing you to Meiji Jingu. The entrance to Meiji Jingu will be on your left, where you will see a large wooden torii gate.

Train
From Shibuya Station, take the JR Yamanote Line (green line) towards Shinjuku. Get off at Harajuku Station (1 stop). Use the Omotesando Exit and follow the signs to Meiji Jingu. Once you exit the station, turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will come across a large wooden torii gate marking the entrance to the shrine.

Bus
From Shibuya Station, head to the bus terminal located outside the station. Look for the bus stop for the Keio Bus service. You can take bus number 88 or 96 towards Harajuku. Get off at the 'Meiji Jingu' bus stop. The entrance to Meiji Jingu is just a short walk from the bus stop, where you will see a large wooden torii gate.
