Getting There

Walking

From Shinjuku Station's East Exit, walk approximately 5 minutes towards the Shinjuku Toho Building in Kabukicho. The Godzilla Head is visible from the street, perched atop the Hotel Gracery. To get a closer view, enter the hotel and take the elevator to the 8th-floor Café Terrace Bonjour.
Public Transport

Take the Seibu-Shinjuku Line to Seibu-Shinjuku Station, which is about a 3-minute walk to the Godzilla Head. From there, walk towards the Shinjuku Toho Building and enter the Hotel Gracery to access the 8th-floor terrace. Subway fares in Tokyo generally range from ¥180-¥220 per ride.
Taxi

Taxis are readily available throughout Shinjuku. A short taxi ride from Shinjuku Station to the Godzilla Head will cost approximately ¥1100-¥1400. Ask the driver to take you to the Hotel Gracery in Kabukicho.

This impressive 12-meter tall head is perched on the 8th-floor terrace of the Shinjuku Toho Building, home to the Hotel Gracery. Installed in 2015 to celebrate the anniversary of Godzilla's first film in 1954 and the opening of the Toho Building, the head is based on the 1992 film 'Godzilla vs. Mothra'.
