Car

If you're driving from central Tosa, take Route 56 towards Kanazawa. Follow the signs for Kanazawa until you reach the city. Once in Kanazawa, follow the signs for the Higashi Chaya District. There is limited parking available near the district, so plan to arrive early. Expect to pay around 500 yen for parking.

Train and Walking

For public transportation, take the Tosa Kuroshio Railway from Tosa City Station to Kochi Station. From Kochi Station, transfer to the JR Nankai Line towards Kanazawa. Get off at Kanazawa Station. From Kanazawa Station, take a local bus or taxi to Higashi Chaya District. The bus fare is approximately 230 yen, and the taxi fare may range from 1,000 to 1,500 yen depending on traffic.

Alternatively, from Tosa, you can take a direct bus to Kanazawa. Buses operate regularly, and the fare is about 1,500 yen. Once you arrive at Kanazawa, you can catch a local bus or taxi to reach the Higashi Chaya District. The local bus fare from Kanazawa to Higashi Chaya District is around 230 yen.

Bicycle
