Getting There

  • Car

    From Tosa, take Route 56 heading northwest toward Kochi. After approximately 20 km, merge onto Route 33 toward Matsuyama. Continue for around 80 km until you reach the Hiroshima area. Once you enter Hiroshima city, follow signs for the city center and then for the Peace Memorial Park. The parking facilities are available nearby, but they may incur a fee, typically around 500-1000 yen for a few hours.

  • Public Transportation - Train

    From Tosa, head to Tosa-Yamada Station and take the JR Dosan Line toward Kochi Station. At Kochi Station, transfer to the JR Shikoku Line heading toward Okayama. After approximately 2 hours, you will arrive at Hiroshima Station. From Hiroshima Station, take the Hiroshima Electric Railway (tram) Line 1 or 2 toward Hiroshima Port and get off at Genbaku Dome-mae Station. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Peace Memorial Park.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    Take a local bus from Tosa to Kochi Station. From Kochi Station, you can take an express bus to Hiroshima, which takes about 3.5 to 4 hours. Upon arriving at Hiroshima Bus Terminal, you can either take a taxi for about 1,500 yen or walk to the nearest tram station and take tram Line 1 or 2 toward Hiroshima Port, getting off at Genbaku Dome-mae Station. The walk from the tram stop to the park takes about 5 minutes.
