Getting There

Car
If you're driving from Tosa, head north on Route 56 towards Takamatsu. Merge onto the Takamatsu Expressway and continue until you reach the junction for the Sanuki Expressway. Take the Sanuki Expressway towards Takamatsu. Once you reach Takamatsu, follow signs to the JR Takamatsu Station. From there, you will need to park at a nearby parking facility as parking at Sensō-ji is limited. After parking, continue your journey by using public transportation.

Train
From Takamatsu, take the JR train to Okayama Station. From Okayama Station, transfer to the Shinkansen (bullet train) heading to Tokyo. Once you arrive at Tokyo Station, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line and get off at Ueno Station. From Ueno Station, take the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to Asakusa Station. Upon exiting Asakusa Station, follow the signs directing you to Sensō-ji, which is a short walk away.

Bus
If you prefer to take a bus instead of a train, from Takamatsu, board a highway bus heading to Tokyo. The journey will take several hours, so ensure you check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive at Tokyo, you can take the subway from the bus terminal to Asakusa Station by using the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. Follow the signs to Sensō-ji once you exit the station.
