    Getting There

    Car

    If you're driving from Tosa, take the Kochi Expressway (Kochi Jidoshado) heading north towards Osaka. After approximately 2 hours, merge onto the Meishin Expressway towards Osaka. Continue for about 30 minutes and take the exit for Umeda. Follow the signs for the Umeda Sky Building, which will be on your right. There is parking available at the building, but expect to pay around 1,200 yen for the first hour and 300 yen for every additional 15 minutes.

    Train

    To reach Umeda Sky Building using public transportation, start by heading to Kochi Station. From Kochi Station, take the JR Dosan Line to Okayama Station. At Okayama, transfer to the Shinkansen (bullet train) and head to Shin-Osaka Station. This part of the journey will take around 2.5 hours. From Shin-Osaka Station, transfer to the Osaka Loop Line and get off at Osaka Station. From Osaka Station, it's a 10-minute walk to Umeda Sky Building. Follow the signs for the Umeda area, and you will eventually arrive at the building.

    Bus

    Another option is to take a highway bus from Kochi to Osaka. Buses typically leave from Kochi Station and the journey takes about 3.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Osaka bus terminal, you can take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line from Namba Station to Umeda Station. From Umeda Station, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Umeda Sky Building. Keep in mind that the bus fare is around 3,500 yen one way.
