Walking
From JR Fukui Station, the park is approximately a 20-minute walk. Head southwest from the station, following the main road. You'll see signs directing you towards Asuwayama Park. The route is straightforward and well-marked.
Public Transport
From Fukui Station, take the Fukui Railway tram bound for Echizen Takefu and get off at Asuwayama-Koenguchi Station. The tram ride is about 15 minutes, and from there, it's a 5-minute walk to the park. Alternatively, take the Keifuku Bus bound for Undo-koen via Michimori High School and get off at Kubo-cho (10 minutes) or take the Keifuku bus bound for Shimizu Plant 3 and get off at Asuwayama-koenshita (11 minutes). A tram ride costs around ¥180 , and a bus ride costs around ¥210.
Taxi
A taxi from JR Fukui Station to Asuwayama Park takes about 10 minutes and typically costs between ¥1,000 and ¥1,500, depending on traffic. Taxis are readily available at the station's taxi stands.
Car
If driving, head towards Yamaokucho in Fukui City. From central Wakasa, take Route 27 north towards Fukui City and follow the signs for Asuwayama Park. Parking is available near the park entrance with 79 spaces, and it is free. However, parking is limited, so public transport is encouraged.
