Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from the center of Wakasa, head west on Route 303 towards Nagahama. Continue on Route 303 for approximately 30 kilometers. Once you reach Nagahama, look for the signs directing you to Daitsu-ji Temple. The temple is located at 32-9 Motohamacho, Nagahama, Shiga 526-0059. There is parking available at the temple, but it may be limited during busy times.

  • Train and Walk

    For those using public transportation, take the JR Hokuriku Line from Wakasa Station to Nagahama Station. The train journey takes about 20 minutes. Upon arriving at Nagahama Station, exit the station and walk towards the bus terminal. Take a local bus towards Motohamacho (the bus ride takes about 10 minutes).
