If you are driving, head towards the city of Nagahama. From central Wakasa, take Route 8 towards Nagahama. Continue on Route 8 for about 30 kilometers. Once you enter Nagahama, follow the signs for Shinzencho. The temple 'Shoro' is located at 1-1 Shinzencho, and you should look for parking options nearby as street parking may be limited.
Public Transportation
To reach 'Shoro' using public transport, start by taking a bus or train from Wakasa to Nagahama Station. The journey typically takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Nagahama Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located just outside. Take a local bus that goes to Shinzencho. After a 10-minute ride, get off at the Shinzencho stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the temple located at 1-1 Shinzencho.
