If you're traveling by car from central Yamanashi, take the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道) towards Tokyo. After approximately 1 hour, take the exit for Hachioji JCT and merge onto the Ken-O Expressway (圏央道) towards Kawagoe. Continue for about 25 minutes and then take the exit for Hinohara. Follow the signs to Hinohara Village Local History Museum (三都郷3221, Hinohara, Tokyo). The museum is located on the left side of the road. Parking is available on-site, but be aware that it may incur a small fee.

To reach the Hinohara Village Local History Museum by public transportation, first, take the JR Chuo Line train from any major station in Yamanashi (e.g., Kofu Station) towards Tokyo. Transfer at Takao Station to the JR Yokohama Line and get off at Hinohara Station. From Hinohara Station, you can take a local bus (Hinohara Village Line) towards the museum. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited, especially on weekends.
