Start your journey at Shinjuku Station, one of Tokyo's busiest transportation hubs. Take the JR Chuo Line (Rapid) towards Takao. The train ride takes approximately 1 hour. Disembark at Ome Station. Once you arrive at Ome Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located right outside.

At the Ome Station bus terminal, look for the bus heading to Mitake Station. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you reach Mitake Station, you will find signs directing you towards the hiking trails leading to the Rock Garden.
