Car
Ameushino Falls is best accessed by car. From JR Bungo-Taketa Station, it's approximately a 15-minute drive. Follow the signs for "Deai-no-Yu," a hot spring facility near the falls. A free parking lot is available near the waterfall entrance. From the parking lot, it's about a 10-minute walk to the waterfall. Note that Deai-no-Yu is currently closed.
Public Transport
While there is no direct public transportation to the waterfall, you can take a bus from Taketa Station towards Kariono. Get off near the entrance to Ameushino Falls, and it's a short walk along the path leading to the waterfall. Bus fares from Taketa Station to Kariono area are typically around ¥300-¥500.
