Getting There

• Public Transportation

  From your hotel or location in the Dead Sea area, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take a bus heading towards Amman. The bus will take you north along the Dead Sea Highway. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to stop at the nearest bus stop for Jerusalem. Once you arrive in Jerusalem, you will need to transfer to another bus or a taxi to reach the Broad Wall. You can take bus number 18 or 19 from the Jerusalem Central Bus Station, which will take you closer to the Old City. Get off at the nearest stop to Ha-Yehudim St and walk to the Broad Wall, which is located at Ha-Yehudim St 87.

• Shared Taxi (Service)

  Look for shared taxi services (known as 'service' taxis) at designated stops in the Dead Sea area. These taxis typically head to major cities like Jerusalem. You can ask the driver to take you to Jerusalem. Upon arrival at the service taxi drop-off point in Jerusalem, you can either take another service taxi to the Old City or use public transportation (buses 18 or 19) that go towards the Old City area. Get off at the closest stop to Ha-Yehudim St and walk to Broad Wall located at Ha-Yehudim St 87.

• Walking

  If you are near the Old City of Jerusalem after taking public transport, you can walk to the Broad Wall. From the Jaffa Gate, head east along the Old City walls. Follow the signs to the Jewish Quarter, and then to Ha-Yehudim St. The Broad Wall is located at Ha-Yehudim St 87. This walk is approximately 15-20 minutes and is a great way to enjoy the historical sites along the way.
