If you are in the center of Jerash, start at the Jerash Archaeological Museum. From the museum, head east along the main road, which is Al-Ma'in Street. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Al-Jafer Street. Turn left onto Al-Jafer Street and walk for about 300 meters. You will see signs pointing towards the Church of St John the Baptist. As you approach, the church will be situated on your right. The exact location is near the coordinates 32.2813413 latitude and 35.889402 longitude.

Another route is to start from the Oval Plaza, which is one of the main attractions in Jerash. From the Oval Plaza, head south towards the South Theatre. After passing the theatre, take the path leading towards the East Gate. Once you reach the East Gate, turn right onto Al-Ma'in Street and continue walking east for about 1.5 kilometers. You will reach the Church of St John the Baptist on your left side, close to the coordinates provided.
