If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Jerash via the main road (Highway 35). From the Southern Jordan Valley, take the route through the town of Al-Salt toward Jerash. Once you reach Jerash, follow signs to the archaeological site. The Umayyad Residences are located near the South Tetrapylon in the Jerash archaeological site. Parking is available near the entrance, but there may be a small fee, generally around 1-2 JOD.

For travelers using public transportation, you can take a bus from the main bus station in the Southern Jordan Valley to Jerash. Buses run frequently, and the fare is typically around 1-2 JOD. Upon arriving at the Jerash bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi to the archaeological site. Walking will take about 20-30 minutes. Taxis are available and should cost around 3-5 JOD to get to the entrance of the site. Once there, follow the signs to the South Tetrapylon, where you will find the Umayyad Residences.
