Getting There

Walking
From the entrance of Petra, head straight towards the Siq. Enter the Siq and walk through it for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the Treasury (Al-Khazneh). After admiring the Treasury, continue walking straight past it. You will walk through the main street of Petra, where you can see various tombs and monuments along the way. Keep walking until you reach the Theater, a large rock-cut structure. Continue past the Theater towards the Royal Tombs area. From there, head towards the Great Temple. After exploring the Great Temple, you will find a path leading up to the Silk Tomb, which is located near the Royal Tombs. Follow the signs to the Silk Tomb, which is nearby and offers beautiful views and intricate carvings.
