Getting There

From the Petra Visitor Center, walk along the main path towards the Siq, which is the entrance to Petra. Once you reach the Siq, walk through the narrow gorge until you arrive at the Treasury (Al-Khazneh). After visiting the Treasury, continue walking straight along the main route. You will pass the Street of Facades on your right. Keep walking until you reach the end of the street, and you will see the theater on your left. From the theater, head uphill towards the Royal Tombs. Once you reach the Royal Tombs, continue walking uphill. The path will lead you to the Urn Tomb, which is located on a plateau overlooking the surrounding area.

Alternatively, if you're feeling adventurous, you can take a scenic route from the Monastery (Al-Deir). After exploring the Monastery, head back down the trail. Instead of returning the same way, look for signs leading towards the Urn Tomb. The path will eventually lead you to the Royal Tombs, and from there, you can follow the same route as previously described to reach the Urn Tomb.
