From the Visitor Centre in Petra, start your journey by heading towards the main entrance of the archaeological site. Walk straight along the main path that leads into the Petra valley. Keep an eye on the towering rock formations on either side as you proceed. After about 1.5 km, you will reach the Siq, which is the narrow gorge that leads to the Treasury. Continue walking through the Siq for approximately 800 meters until you reach the iconic Treasury. Once at the Treasury, take a moment to admire the magnificent façade. From here, continue walking past the Treasury and follow the path that leads to the Street of Facades. After exploring the Street of Facades, look for signs directing you towards Little Petra (Siq al-Barid). The path to Little Petra is well-marked and will lead you through stunning rock formations. It's about a 2 km walk from the Treasury to Little Petra, which should take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Little Petra, you will find the Triclinium located within the site.
