Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Eilat, which is the nearest major city in the Arava region. Head north on Route 90 for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 10. Take Route 10, which will lead you toward the border with Jordan. Follow Route 10 for about 20 kilometers. You will see signs for Uum Sayhoun and the Ad-Deir Trail area. Follow these signs, and upon reaching the vicinity, park your car at the designated parking area near The Monastery Road (8CPP+FG9). The trailhead is a short walk from the parking area.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus from Eilat to the town of Timna. From Timna, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Ad-Deir Trail. The taxi ride from Timna to the trail will take about 30 minutes and may cost around 100-150 NIS, so be sure to bring cash. Confirm with the taxi driver that you want to go to the Ad-Deir Trail trailhead.
