Getting There

Walking
From the center of Umm Qais, head south towards the main road (King Abdullah II Street). Once you reach the road, turn left and walk along it for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and cafes. Keep walking until you reach the junction with the road leading to Jerash. Follow the signs that indicate Jerash and continue along the road for about 15 minutes until you see the entrance to the Archaeological Site of Jerash on your right.

From Umm Qais, make your way to the nearest bus stop, which is located on King Abdullah II Street. Look for a bus heading to Jerash; these buses are typically marked with their destination. Once on the bus, enjoy the approximately 30-minute ride to Jerash. The bus will drop you off near the entrance of the Archaeological Site of Jerash.

Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Umm Qais. Simply find a taxi at the local taxi stand or ask your accommodation to call one for you. The journey to Jerash takes about 20 minutes, and the driver will take you directly to the entrance of the Archaeological Site of Jerash. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
