Walking
From Wadi Rum Village, start at the main square where you'll see the visitor center. Head southeast along the main path leading out of the village. Follow the signs for Wadi Rum protected area. After about 1 km, you'll reach a checkpoint; show your entry ticket. Continue walking straight for approximately 6 km, enjoying the stunning desert views. You will see the towering rock formations on either side. As you approach the camp, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Wadi Rum Nabatean Camp. The camp is located about 12 km from Wadi Rum Village, and you should see it on your right side as you continue walking.

Camel Trekking
If you prefer a more authentic experience, consider booking a camel trek from Wadi Rum Village. Most local guides offer camel rides to the Nabatean Camp. Start at the village center, where you can find camel guides. The trek typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow your guide as they lead you through the breathtaking landscape towards the camp. You'll navigate through stunning rock formations and open desert. The ride is leisurely, allowing you to take in the surroundings. Your guide will take you directly to the Wadi Rum Nabatean Camp.

Horse Riding
Similar to camel trekking, horse riding is another option available in Wadi Rum Village. You can rent a horse from local stable owners. After securing a horse, follow the main path out of the village. The route is approximately the same as the walking path, about 12 km. The ride will be faster than walking, taking about 30 to 45 minutes depending on your speed. Ensure you follow the lead of your guide who will direct you to Wadi Rum Nabatean Camp.
