If you're driving from the center of Gypsum Hills, start by heading north on Kansas Highway 99 (K-99) from the main intersection. After approximately 12 miles, you'll reach the town of Alma. As you enter Alma, keep an eye out for the signs for the Native Stone Scenic Byway. The historical marker is located just off K-99, on the east side of the highway. There is no fee for accessing the marker.
