Walking
If you are in downtown Wichita, start at the Wichita Public Library located at 223 S. Main St. Head south on Main St. for one block until you reach Douglas Ave. Turn right onto Douglas Ave and walk west for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by various shops and restaurants. Continue straight until you reach the Arkansas River, where you will find the Riverwalk. The Riverwalk is a scenic area along the river with walking paths and parks.

If you're near the Wichita Transit Center at 214 S. Topeka St., take the #14 bus towards the Central Avenue and Oliver route. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop near the Riverwalk (approximately 1st and Main St.). From there, walk east towards the Arkansas River, where you can access the Riverwalk area.

If you have a bicycle, start from the Old Town area. Cycle south on the bike lanes along Washington Ave. After about 0.7 miles, turn left onto Douglas Ave and continue towards the Arkansas River. Once you reach the river, follow the bike paths along the Riverwalk, which offer beautiful views and a great place to explore.
